What attributes draw you to a music video?

For me, it's the originality and the ability to make the video relate to the song and flow smoothly.

Good question! For me I think it's the songs that are visually descriptive and conjure visual images. Not that the video needs to be a literal interpretation, just that it puts some image in people's heads. I think making a music video comes from a desire to "complete the experience" of listening to music. Put the viewer in a world that made the artist write the song. That's what's powerful about it for me.

Yeah, I feel the same when directing a music video. I want images that sticks into people's head. For me being creative in your way to convey the mood is the best way to ensure I dont foreget ur music video.

So yeah, I become naturally motivated when I wanna be creative with the attitude of the band with their song. When I feel I could get crazy visuals that would extend the mood to something more precise and powerful. I'm in!

I like a music video to tell the story and that is how I produce and direct the music videos I do. I usually include clips of the band playing although sometimes I have the characters in the video sing. It all depends upon how the music inspires me.
