Hey everyone,
Filmaka is starting a new competition!! Have a chance to win Funding for your Feature film. Our Theme this month is The Other Side. Undiscovered filmmakers compete each month by uploading a 3-minute short to their website - at the end of a year, one is chosen to have his or her feature film produced by Filmaka founder Deepak Nayar (Bend It Like Beckham, Buena Vista Social Club). All finalists are judged by an international jury of veteran filmmakers including Paul Schrader, Werner Herzog, and John Madden. Nine more slots remain to be filled.
The current competition theme for entry submission is THE OTHER SIDE. For more information on rules and other prizes, go to filmaka.com/theotherside. Submissions for this round are due AUGUST 2, 2009.
